Celebrate the Jewish Harvest holiday of Sukkes/Sukkot with the Morris Winchevsky School! Help us decorate the sukkah, learn about the symbols of the holiday, sing and listen to stories together, play games, and much much more!
We will be providing Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider but invite the families to bring in potluck foods and a blankets.
We look forward to seeing everyone in person again, but will confirm in-person location closer to the date.
At the United Jewish People's Order / Morris Winchevsky Shule we have dedicated our High Holidays to the theme of refugees. During our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur observances, we focused on the refugees' journey to Canada and experiences upon arrival in Canada. Following the Sukkot celebration we will host an information session about our community and individual private sponsorship of refugees so please stick around for this at 1:30pm by the fire pit.
