About Camp Naivelt.

The camp sits on a wooded bend of the Credit River in Brampton, Ontario, about an hour northwest of downtown Toronto. Families have gathered on this land every summer since 1925, in cottages handed down across generations. The river is the heart of camp life: children learn to swim in it, the footbridges cross it, and the hills above it hold the open-air stage where the Saturday-night concerts have run for a century. The Credit is one of southern Ontario's last cold-water rivers, a protected greenbelt corridor that keeps Naivelt green and quiet a short drive from the city.

Naivelt is a community of the United Jewish People's Order, and shares its commitments: secular Jewish culture, Yiddishkeit, and a century of social activism.
