Privacy Policy
The Morris Winchevsky Centre, home to the United Jewish People’s Order (UJPO), the Morris Winchevsky School and Camp Naivelt, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, such as when you:
- fill out our membership form (your name, contact details, and the information needed to process your membership);
- subscribe to our newsletter or Bi-Weekly Digest (your email address, and optionally your name);
- register for an event, volunteer, or contact us (the details you provide in the form).
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, process memberships and registrations, send the newsletters and updates you asked for, and run our programs. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver a service you requested (for example, a payment processor or email tool) or where required by law.
Payments and donations
Donations and some payments are handled by trusted third-party processors (such as CanadaHelps). Your payment details are entered on their secure systems and are governed by their own privacy policies, the Centre does not store your credit-card information.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. If we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used, it is configured to avoid tracking you across other sites.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any newsletter. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us below.
