UJPO Winnipeg Celebrates 100 Years of UJPO

The United Jewish People’s Order, Canada’s Home for the Jewish Left, is thrilled to announce our official Centenary Celebration Event: Joy and Struggle – 100 years of UJPO – Winnipeg edition!

To properly mark this incredible milestone, we have put together an amazing show, featuring, live and in-person:

-Music from The Winnipeg Jewish Folk Choir, Sarena Sairan and David Wall (The Shandes)

-An amazing list of guest speakers, who will help celebrate UJPO’s legacy

-Members of the Palestine Content Advisory Network of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, who will discuss the upcoming, historic Nakba exhibit.

-A sneak preview of Saul Henteleff’s fascinating new documentary film on the history of women and UJPO

And

-starting at 6:00pm, a fascinating guided tour of the Ukranian Labour Temple, featuring an in depth look at the history of Winnipeg’s progressive communities
