SUMMARY:Third Seyder
DESCRIPTION:UJPO Third Seyder 2026 – 100 Years of Resistance: Choosing Courage ZOOM LINK \nHAGGADAH \nSONG BOOKLET \nTICKETS: Click here. \nThe Passover Seyder asks: What can old stories teach us about how we must live today? What do we remember and commemorate\, and why? The tradition of the Third Seyder asks specifically: how do we make an ancient struggle for justice relevant now? With intention\, we remember what our ancestors went through. We\, the living\, have the greatest responsibility to uphold the courage of those who came before us\, and transform that memory into a vision of the future. A future of freedom and dignity for all. \nHaving witnessed 1\,237 full moons\, UJPO turns 100 in 2026. We hold a collective memory of 100 years of togetherness. 100 years of struggle and solidarity. In 100 years we have had countless reasons to resist and fight for justice. Like the story of Exodus\, UJPO’s history tells the story of a choice to fight for freedom\, even if that meant a meandering path of struggle. Like our ancestors in Egypt\, we were not alone in this struggle. We linked arms with many other freedom fighters and knew the power of allyship. \nWhen we overcome fear and choose courage\, the path ahead is difficult\, but full of the joys of community\, a clear conscience\, hope\, song\, a sense of belonging\, and the ever-present vision of living in a just world. On Saturday\, April 4th 2026\, join us to celebrate the beauty of courage and resistance– past\, present\, and future\, at UJPO’s annual Third Seyder. \nWHEN: Saturday\, April 4th \nDoors: 4 pm\, Seyder: 5 pm\, Dinner: 7 pm \nWHERE: Lithuanian House – 1573 Bloor St W\, Toronto\, ON M6P 1A6 \nTICKETS: \nAdult Member: $65 \nAdult Non-Member $75 \nYoung Adult (18-29) Member: $55 \nYoung Adult (18-29) Non-Member: $60 \nKids (2-18) Member: $45 \nKids (2-18) Non-Member: $52 \nVirtual: (per device) Member: $18 \nVirtual (per device) Non-Member: $21 \nSubsidies available – email info@ujpo.org for more info. \nNo one gets turned away. \nWith Music by Marching Disorder\, David Wall\, Marilyn Lerner and special guests. \nThe Lithuanian House is a wheelchair accessible space.
