What happens when everyone realizes the elusive two-state solution is truly dead and buried? This is an invitation to Jewish and other communities in Toronto and the GTA to join this important conversation with Jonathan Kuttab about what is possible in a place that seems so impossibly without hope.

What might a one-state look like? What would be required from Israeli Jews, Palestinians living inside Israel and in occupied Palestine, and the world community. What is the role of Diaspora Jews and Palestinian refugees? The United Jewish Peoples' Order (UJPO) invites you to join in this important and timely discussion.

Jonathan Kuttab is a Palestinian attorney, human rights activist, and visionary born in West Jerusalem. He graduated from the University of Virginia Law School and is licensed to practice in Palestine, Israel, and New York. Jonathan has co-founded a number of human rights organizations including Al Haq, the first human rights organization in Palestine, and the Mandela Institute for Palestinian Prisoners. He also co-founded several Palestinian civil society organizations including the Palestinian Center for the Study of Nonviolence in Jerusalem and Operation Smile in Bethlehem. Kuttab is a co-founder of Nonviolence International in Washington, DC. and is on the boards of Bethlehem Bible College and Sabeel, a Palestinian Liberation Theology Center in Jerusalem. He is currently a visiting scholar at Osgoode Law School at York University.
