Kinder Kapers -- an interactive program for toddlers and their grownups
1st session: Sunday September 20, 2009
10:30 a.m. -- noon
Winchevsky Centre, 585 Cranbrooke Avenue
Kinder Kapers, our fun and interactive program for parents and toddlers aged 18 months to 4 years, includes music and movement, arts and crafts, puppets and stories, circle time and play time -- all with a Jewish flavour. Sessions are held twice a month on Sunday mornings and centre around such themes as Jewish holidays, Shabbes, and life cycles.
Refreshments are served at the end of each class, providing families with an opportunity to socialize.
Morris Winchevsky School -- a modular approach for SK-Grade 5 students
Modules 1 & 2 begin: Sunday September 20, 2009
10:00 a.m. -- 12:45 p.m.

To keep learning stimulating and focused, students at the Morris Winchevsky School experience classes in 5-week long modules. Each module highlights a different theme and is led in a creative and interactive manner by an expert. The modular system is designed to meet the needs of your family. You can enroll your child(ren) in all 10 modules, or you can mix and match -- the choice is up to you!
Secular B'nai Mitzvah Program -- a unique two-year experience
1st class: Sunday September 20, 2009
10:00 a.m. -- 12:45 p.m.
Winchevsky Centre, 585 Cranbrooke Avenue
This two-year secular program for Grade 6 and 7 students culminates in a unique group ceremony. Students and parents, under staff guidance, collectively shape this important life cycle event, highlighting the specific interests and talents of their children.
