The Winchevsky Centre has reserved a block of tickets for "House of Many Tongues", written by Toronto playwright Jonathan Garfinkel, author of Ambivalence: Adventures in Israel and Palestine.

Making its world premiere, the story follows an Israeli general and his adolescent son, who is attempting to bring about peace in the Middle East through improved sexual techniques. They are joined in their Jerusalem home by a Palestinian writer and his daughter, returning to the house their family left behind four decades earlier. Magic realism triumphs over political reality in this controversial play about four people from opposite sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict who must live together in the same house.

As a special treat, join us before the play for a social dinner at nearby restaurant Dos Amigos. Advance reservations are required (the cost of dinner is not included in the ticket price).

Tickets must be reserved by May 1st. To purchase tickets, call 416-789-5502, or download the order form.
