This gala concert in celebration of Pete Seeger's 90th birthday will feature singer, guitarist and songwriter Michael Friedman, one of the most exciting and unique performers to emerge on the music scene. The evening will also include hootenanny style songs presented by the talented musicians of Camp Naivelt.

Based on Canada's West Coast, Michael Friedman's visually compelling technique is a combination of intricate finger-picking, strumming, harmonic slapping and pulloffs. His imaginative use of alternate guitar tunings sets the stage for a soundscape of infinite possibility, where Friedman paints a tapestry of changing emotions and moods. Friedman continues to tour in Canada, USA and Europe in support of his recordings.
